Weisshorn is after Dufourspitze and Lyskamm the 3rd highest mountain in Switzerlands mountains. Next lower one is Matterhorn on 4th rank.

Do not confuse with the Weisshorn located in Grissons Graubünden Arosa mountains.

On the Ayer side of val de Annivers is a hut called Cabane de Arpitettaz. On another side of Weisshorn is Zermatt.
