There is a street from Orn to the Peak Bachtel Kulm. But usually this road is just for locals, all others Need to walk the last 3 Kilometers up the hill. On top is a Tower you can climb up to have a better view over to Hörnli and lake Zürich.
Bachtel has a hobby plane Airport called Hasenstrick and a ski Jumper tower a bit below Bachtel ranch. The Problem just is, this area is situated that low that it usually has no snow.
When it once has any snow, you can ride down the road with a sledge, what is quite popular with People from Wetzikon, Hinwil and Wald. At least for families and kids.
Almost forgot about. Once a year there is a Cinema Event on Bachtel called Alpenkino and those creative organizers even put you a Whirlpool noodle pan up to have fun on this Little mountain.
Bachtel Ranch restaurant itself has a stunning location, but you could do ways more out of it at that site. But it is obviously running good enough to let those guys not create any funky ideas. At least it is a bikers Meeting Point at summers and those Walking up and down Bachtel get in as well there.
