But up to Mount Boval then it is another story and maybe it will once end for grandmamas when it is getting steep.

Definitely it is ending then even for younger ones than grnadmamas with Piz Bernina which is the only 4k mountain in Grissons. All other Swiss 4k mountains are in the canton of Valais around Saas Fee and Zermatt.

On another side of Morteratsch glacier is Diavolezza skiresort of Pontresina.

Elevation difference from Pontresina up to Boval hut is 550m.

When once you got the headache of climbing the mountain behind you, on another side is Tschierva hut, Chamanna Tschierva. Getting to this hut finally is as well from Pontresina.
