Basicly to find a pretty lake you watch out its altitude is between 800 and 1800 meters. Higher than 1800 you wont have any pine forests anymore. You wont find any tree higher than 2000 meters. That means you will be likely to find the nicest lakes somewhere in the middle of Switzerland or in the mountains of Grissons or Valais. And very likely as well you will not like the prettiest lake if an average Swiss architect built a concrete bunker in front or a ugly road next to it.

But find out yourself. This might be almost all lakes Switzerland has...maybe i missed a handful but will proceed with it until you find your last Little lake here.
