Via Mala is on the Transit route North-South Switzerland from the Grisson mountains to Ticino. Those not choosing Gotthard but San Bernardino pass instead will drive along here, getting at this section away from the Highway and have a look down at it.
The yearly theme running event here is called Transviamala.
There are some canyoning opportunities here (got to make myself smart about it first..)
