You likely do not want to find out about another vietnamese doctors in town and what they want to inject you.
But even CT clinic is best in a diameter of 200 km, as next better is in Phnom Penh, they do not have ANY doctor in Cambodia with an education you could compare to something you know from a western world home !
Maybe it got a bit better in the meantime and this knowledge is based up to beginning of 2015.
But best whatever you likely still can do in this city. Be smart, drive careful on streets and try not to have any health issues in this town....you will regret it VERY HARD otherwise !
Believe in this lines...or be smarter and check it out yourself.
Forget about inner surgeries in this town if having a blown up appendix or whatever. Best smart with alcohol as many people and alcoholics just die with pancreas issues when going over limits.
Do wear a helmet on streets as if you are having head injuries on skull you will be dead as so many died that way before.
You need a GOOD friend helping you out when it happens, as this friend will be the one helping you then to get to a real hospital with a real doctor in neighbouring Thailand. Closest one is Banbkok Hosp in Trat, best option eversince is Bumrungrad in Banbkok...but this is very long way if you are ill.
Dont worry about snakebites. Usually the way foreigners die in Sihanoukville is on streets when drunken without a helmet at night.
If the guys in ambulance cars...even from CT clinics see you wont make it and will die....they will just turn around and leave you alone. No hospital in Cambodia nor a clinic will risk a dead person at their place as it gives them a bad ghost..
Bad ghost in Cambodia means...the Khmers will talk a live long any invented stories as the doctor killed you or whatever just because of jealousy to kill any concurrence business and set up rumours that way. This brings the bad ghost.....so dont DIE in Cambodia and be SMART.
