From the base cablecar station there are 2 options to go. Right side is Foppa which as well offers a slope for sledding. Right upon Foppa is Naraus from where there g9ndola goes up to the top called Cassons. Each Foppa and Naraus have a hut style restaurant. The whole area is just gorgeous and offers loads of options within the trees for freeriders. Beautiful.
Another left side from Flims gors up to Startgels from where it splits. One side up to Crap Sogn Gion where thereborder pipes are. Another side is Naraus from where it once more goes up to La Siala. The ride down from Siala back to Flims over Grauberg is gorgeous and with 13km the longest.
Those which like a bit music for sunbathing will be stuck at the border site of Crap Sogn Gion, fotget about the rest which is all just Swiss boring Church style.
Those just concentrating about skiing which dont care much about missing parties will be fully happy with Flims. Skiing wise it is hard to top. An arena on the sunny side, likely the biggest area in Switzerland. Not that high what mean, riding between the forests give a special ambiance. And if they once wake up here and make their nightlife and apres ski party homework together with letting cars out of town it could be the winter dream site allover Europe.
Vacca - Plaun
Vacca is a restaurant around a gorgeous fireplace in an indian tent at the base station Plaun. Amazing they are not able to come up with more venues like this, as this place is just unique and some of the most creative to find allover this nation.

You likely will not find any nicer skiresort than Flims all over the world. Flims just got all what you Need skiresort wise, but unfortunately they forgot about wellness and nightlife eversince.
Some efforts have been done to get traffic out of town with opening a tunnel in 2007 years ago but still kind of a main attraction is the massive ugly road going through town and there seems to be no way to get this whole thing carfree. But if it would be carfree, having Wellness and a nightlife...it would be the top skiresort on earth.
From 1000m Elevation it goes up to 3000m at La Siala and Vorab. The longest slope is 13km back from La Siala to Flims where it has a couple very nice stopovers to rest as Startgels, Runca and finally the Iglu at the cablecar Station back in Flims.
The whole thing is connected together with LAAX where it is connected together at Plaun. From Plaun it goes left side to Crap Sogn Gion and right side to Nagens.
Flims itself has as well 2 sides to choose. One is the area of Nagens, La Siala, another on the right Foppa, Naraus and Cassons which is not ultimate skiing but ultimate landscape instead.
Flims has a lot of nice Chalet style restaurants and snowbars on the slopes what makes it kind of unique.
If they once achieve to make a cozy Walking Zone with a couple more restaurants and bars in town instead of this ugly road, this would be the ultimate skiresort in Switzerland all ahead of everything else. The skiresort itself is kind of the best and nicest in Switzerland already.
Actually there is no big reason why not to lock this road end of Waldhaus, making a big carpark on entrance and having electro shuttles then within, as the traffic to LAAX is going through the tunnel anyway, but those Swiss were yet just not smart enough for it. But when once seeing Ischgl which did it the right way, People understand about Quality not to have cars in such skiresorts but a 100 times better ambiance instead.
