Swiss life and pension insurances operate with amounts of 700 billion Swiss Francs which usually are invested in properties for Profit reasons. As a comparison, the whole private wealth of the Swiss Population is 3000 Billion CHF. For those asking why insurances own nearly all bigger buildings in Switzerland find the reason here. Some wish, they at least would build a bit nicer things than all what is done next to streets with adwords as compressed living in past. At least they could give the buildings a funkier paint than in the average Military Grey.
